I am sure if you google top visited places in Mexico City, the Palace of Fine Arts would be high up on the list. Unlike many historical buildings in Mexico City, this landmark is truly distinctive and impressively eccentric. Especially at night when the lighting makes the Palace of Fine Arts glow and enhances its beauty.
Palacio de Bellas Artes held some of the most remarkable events in dance, music, theatre, opera and literature. It showcased a number of important exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and photography.
Palacio de Bellas Artes is the heart of the metropolitan and certainly one of the most photogenic buildings around Mexico City. There is a secret to getting the best view of Palace of Fine Arts! Just get to the building across the street from the palace and go up to the top floor. There is a cafeteria called Finco Don Porfirio and they have all kinds of drinks.
I didn’t get a chance to attend the performances but I will definitely put it on my to do list for the next time I visit.
