My sightseeing experience during the Mexico City trip started with Chapultepec. This is one of the prime places to visit in Mexico City so I’m happy I got a chance to visit this site despite the tight schedule.
The view of this castle is breathtaking, even from miles away! With a panoramic view of the city, the path up the hill is absolutely gorgeous. It is a long hike to the castle but the way up is so scenic that you won’t notice the distance.
Chapultepec Castle is rich in history, inside you will find rooms with murals and ancient artifacts. The terrace overlooking the city is remarkable. From here you will see just how vast Mexico City is.
For anybody who is planning on visiting this site, I suggest getting there early so you can have plenty of time to explore the whole castle. Upon reaching the top, you will see beautiful gardens and fountains before entering the Chapultepec Castle. I suggest taking a break there so you can breathe in the amazing view and just enjoy the serene atmosphere.
It was already 3 o’clock when I arrived at the entrance, so I had very little time before closing. As I made my way around to the terrace, the employees told everyone to head towards the exit. The staff wouldn’t allow anyone to take any more pictures to prevent the disruption of the traffic flow, which is understandable. I enjoyed every minute of my Chapultepec visit and the entire experience meant a lot to me.
