There are three reasons as to why I mostly shop at thrift stores. To save money, to avoid the in-store, right of the rack look and because I can discover some rare and vintage items that I cannot find anywhere else. However, I like to splurge and reward myself once in a while. I justify doing so, by giving myself the ultimate “I never bought anything for myself with my first salary” excuse.
One of the biggest purchases I made last year was this swagger bag from Coach. An essential piece missing from my wardrobe was an everyday bag that is not too big, yet can hold all the necessary items. My friend, who knows my style very well, got me a matching wallet a couple of years ago. This generous move led me on a search for a purse that would go well with the wallet.
With the beginning of 2018, I started a project to build a minimalistic wardrobe, the details of which I will share with you guys on my next post. Quality over quantity, is my motto nowadays and therefore the key pieces in my wardrobe must be few, high quality and long lasting. As a result of my new year’s resolution, this bag made its way to my wardrobe must-have and an everyday essential.
I want to shine a light on a style expression that has no borders and I hope it makes your day brighter.
