LACMA: Urban Light

IMG_8313

One of the sights in LA which will never go unnoticed is the iconic urban light at LACMA. It is an extraordinary sculpture and I was super excited to see it.
The installation consists of 202 antique street lamps which are displayed at the entrance of the Museum of Art.
When it comes to photography, lighting is the most important factor which contributes to a good picture. I was a bit worried that the lighting will give me difficulties as the night shoots are a bit tricky. However, these lamps lit up beautifully, embracing both my look and the exhibit.
I had dinner plans so I chose to put my dresses aside and wear a pair of pants, since it gets a bit chilly at night. Because of its side slit design, I was still able to expose my legs without having to wear a short dress or a skirt. To compliment this look, I added this bright pink Baublebar earrings to add a pop of color.

I want to shine a light on a style expression that has no borders and I hope it makes your day brighter.
